As a Financial Revenue Consultant, your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with finance, operations, IT, and business leaders to facilitate mergers and acquisitions from the initial agreement through due diligence, closing, valuation, financial reporting, and complete integration.
- Leading cross-functional teams to meet project objectives and influence team members effectively.
- Evaluating the compatibility of acquired company financial processes, controls, and policies against established standards, and advising the integration team on necessary adjustments.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring clear communication throughout the process.
- Assessing revenue recognition impacts of acquisitions and new business models, providing insights to the business.
- Designing and executing streamlined, automated integration processes for new acquisitions and business models.
- Overseeing a team responsible for financial analysis, journal entries, and reconciliation of revenue-related accounts.
- Managing a team tasked with generating periodic reports to fulfill internal and external reporting obligations.
- Directing the implementation and documentation of processes, controls, and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Preparing and reviewing technical accounting documentation related to revenue recognition and business combinations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Possession of a CPA license.
- Experience supervising monthly and quarterly closing activities, account reconciliations, and audit preparations.
- Proficiency in contract analysis under revenue recognition standards.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, Rev Pro).
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, ideally combining public accounting and private sector experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of revenue recognition and accounting principles.
- Ability to communicate complex financial topics to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven capability to manage a professional team, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills to plan project activities effectively.
- Confidence and adaptability to work in a dynamic environment across various business units.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.

- Familiarity with quote-to-collect processes and market strategies.
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions or business model integration.
