Mortgage Loan Closer Job Summary

Tri City National Bank is seeking a skilled Mortgage Loan Closer to manage a pipeline of loans and ensure timely closure in accordance with bank and investor requirements. As a Mortgage Loan Closer, you will serve as a resource for colleagues, provide training and support on loan policy and procedures, and utilize loan closing software to prepare documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with loan processor, loan officer, and loan underwriter to ensure loan closure
  • Train, mentor, and provide leadership to new and existing team members
  • Prepare loan closing documents for purchase, refinance, construction, and consumer mortgage loans
  • Retain up-to-date knowledge of secondary mortgage lending and government loans
  • Resolve problems and work independently with the bank's compliance department and legal counsel
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of consumer mortgage closing experience
  • Knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to the completion of four years of high school education or equivalent
  • Advanced understanding of mortgage closings and problem resolutions
  • Exceptional organization and communication skills
  • Ability to manage high-stress situations and maintain a high level of energy
