Key Responsibilities
  • In this pivotal role, leverage your expertise in tax regulations, analytical skills, and client management to serve real estate clients effectively.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, showcasing your understanding of industry trends, identifying challenges, and proactively offering solutions.
  • Oversee compliance and consulting in areas such as Section 1031 exchanges, Section 754 step-ups, Section 163(j) interest limitations, and Section 1231 gain/loss calculations, while analyzing partnership/LLC operating agreements for tax implications.
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency in managing all client responsibilities, staying informed on industry trends and alternatives.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients' organizations, procedures, and internal policies.
  • Directly address clients' goals and needs, fostering strong relationships.
  • Collaborate with Managing Directors on strategic planning initiatives.
  • Provide insightful recommendations to clients, identifying growth opportunities.
  • Conduct research on tax and accounting matters, delivering informed guidance to clients.
  • Mentor and support junior staff, assisting senior management in their development.
  • Promote a collaborative team environment, supporting management decisions and cultivating a positive workplace culture.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Possession of necessary licenses is required.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple assignments effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in relevant technology.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for business purposes.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $140,000 - $200,000, with specific compensation determined by the candidate's education, experience, and skill set.
