Key Responsibilities:
As a Tax Consultant, you will:
  • Lead tax preparation and research with minimal oversight.
  • Engage directly with clients to address and resolve tax inquiries.
  • Supervise and mentor junior tax staff in the preparation of tax returns.
  • Prepare intricate tax returns and conduct thorough tax research.
  • Respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Review client-provided tax information and provide guidance on complex tax matters.
  • Identify, anticipate, and resolve tax-related challenges while offering strategic recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of relevant public accounting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Proficiency in corporate, partnership, and individual tax return preparation and planning.
  • Ability to prepare interim and annual financial statements.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and QuickBooks is essential.
  • Familiarity with Lacerte tax software is advantageous but not mandatory.
