Multicraft Maintenance Specialist

Talento Search Group is seeking a highly skilled Multicraft Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Kansas City, Missouri area. This is a direct-hire position with a competitive salary range of $30-39 per hour, depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical, electronic, and mechanical technical expertise, with a focus on providing top-notch maintenance and repair services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the process, equipment, controls, and storeroom areas.
- Ensure equipment is maintained mechanically and electrically, following all defined safety procedures, and that everyone working on the equipment is following these procedures, including LOTO and Arc Flash.
- Initiate troubleshooting techniques to solve quality, process, and maintenance-related problems in all areas of the plant, including industrial electrical control systems, power systems, AC/DC electronic speed control devices, gearbox and mill rebuilds, high-frequency welding and induction repair, mechanical troubleshooting, crane repair, and high-speed warehousing and robotic systems.
- Troubleshoot conveyors, robots, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, motors, drives, and control systems with PLCs.
- Ability to properly use required hand tools, power tools, hoists, cranes, alignment equipment, measuring devices, and testing equipment.
- Responsible to monitor, inspect, and complete reports on equipment using manual and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Perform preventative maintenance on assigned mechanical systems.
- Assist other team members as needed.
- Communicate all equipment issues with the Maintenance Foreman.
- Assist in new installation and upgrades of plant equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance technician experience.
- Ability to pass an aptitude test.
- Ability to read and speak English.
- Robotics experience a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs, climb, bend, stoop, push, and pull.
- Manufacturing/Industrial work environment.
- Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role.
- Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy.
