Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site safety visits to review the adequacy of safety programs and complete hazard assessments.
  • Analyze and create loss analysis reports to help policyholders identify and prioritize improved workplace safety practices.
  • Develop sound safety recommendations to prevent workplace injuries and improve policyholders' bottom line.
  • Develop value-added customer servicing strategies to foster strong customer relationships and improve policyholders' risk performance.
  • Summarize on-site safety visits via written reports for internal and external customers.
  • Develop and present training resources to inform safe working practices.
  • Investigate large losses and conduct adverse claim trend analysis to determine if loss prevention intervention is needed.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, and experience.
  • Experience handling workplace safety programs or equivalent education, training, or experience.
  • A valid Texas driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of workplace safety programs in the construction, services, and manufacturing industries.
  • Insurance or industry safety experience.
  • Recognized industry-related designation.
  • OSHA specific coursework.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
