Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced English Language Specialist to join our team at Walker Therapeutic & Educational Programs. In this role, you will work with students to support their reading and English language development, providing individualized instruction and guidance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education, ESL, and child development, with experience working with children with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct instruction in reading and English language development to students identified as English language learners
• Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective lesson plans and supports for ESL students
• Administer English language proficiency assessments and analyze results to inform instruction
• Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, ESL, or related field
• Valid Massachusetts Teaching License in ESL with SEI Endorsement
• Experience teaching reading and providing ESL services
• Strong knowledge of child development and differentiated instruction

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
