Chantilly Kia is seeking a skilled Parts Sales Counter Person to join our team. As a key member of our growing parts department, you will be responsible for overseeing the parts sales process from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with customers on parts status and provide excellent customer service.
  • Work closely with staff and customers to ensure a smooth and efficient parts sales process.
  • Read and understand the parts catalog to locate and order parts accurately.
  • Answer phone calls, provide price quotes, and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Review body shop estimates to ensure accuracy and pricing.
  • Pull and fill orders from stock, and maintain a weekly bin check to ensure accuracy.
  • Notify the parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that require immediate attention.
  • Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit emergency orders if necessary.
  • Ensure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders.
  • Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization.
  • Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in auto parts sales preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, calculate figures, and perform basic math functions.
