Job Summary

This position is with the Carson City Public Works Department. The successful candidate will perform a variety of custodial duties related to facility cleaning and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and sanitizing of hard floors, under bleachers, facility restrooms, auditorium floors, seats, windows, fixtures, mirrors, and carpets.
  • Empties trash and stocks supplies, etc.
  • Operation of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor machines, buffers, and carpet extractors.
  • Removes litter and debris from facility walkways and grounds.
  • Supervision and securing of facility.
Requirements
  • Equivalent to a High School education or GED.
  • Professional cleaning experience is helpful.
  • Hospitality industry experience is helpful.
