Job Description

The Regional Purchasing Manager, Americas is a key leadership role within Armacell LLC, responsible for managing the procurement activities in the Americas region. This role is a member of the Global Procurement Leadership team (GPLT) and reports to the Regional GM of Operations Americas with a functional reporting line to the Director Global Procurement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leads and executes regional category sourcing strategies for key goods and services in line with business objectives and procurement priorities.
  • Ensures all purchasing activities in the region are conducted according to the Armacell procurement policy to ensure maximum value of every dollar spent.
  • Leads supplier relationship management (SRM) initiatives with strategic suppliers as defined jointly with the business.
  • Participates in the GPLT to develop the procurement 3-year mission, category prioritization, SRM prioritization, risk management, and supplier audit plan.
  • Supports the regional implementation of the Global Master Vendor Management and Procure to Pay WAM processes.
  • Manages the vendor qualification and audit process, tracks and authorizes raw material exchanges, and identifies and implements cost savings projects.
  • Manages working capital relating to procurement, delivers timely business intelligence, and prepares commodity and market reports.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in a leadership procurement role at regional/international level.
  • Experience in resin and rubber procurement within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strategic global procurement expertise, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Proven experience in contract negotiations, supplier relationship management, and strategic sourcing.
  • Superior interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communications, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, high level of accuracy, and demonstrated skills at extracting data from multiple sources.

This role requires approximately 20% domestic travel and occasional international travel. The ideal candidate will reside within the East coast, including but not limited to Connecticut, Delaware, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
