  4. Capability to follow both verbal and written instructions accurately.
  5. Physical endurance for continuous activity throughout the shift.

Work Environment: The position is primarily located in the dishwashing area, which may be humid and warm. Responsibilities include handling sharp objects and engaging in physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving heavy items.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Efficiently soak, scrape, wash, rinse, and store all kitchenware, including pots, pans, dishes, and utensils.
  2. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing machines, sinks, and countertops; ensure proper disposal of waste.
  3. Wash essential cooking items promptly during food preparation.
  4. Keep all kitchen equipment in optimal condition.
  5. Properly dispose of garbage in designated receptacles.
  6. Clean kitchen floors after each meal service.
  7. Restock soap and detergent supplies as necessary.
  8. Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
  9. Contribute ideas to enhance the quality of care and improve job satisfaction.
  10. Adhere to safety protocols to ensure the well-being of staff, residents, and visitors.
  11. Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders.
  12. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Dining Services Manager.

Availability: Shifts available from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm - Part Time. Must be available to work every other weekend and on holidays.
