POSITION SUMMARY:

This role is integral to the operational success of our retail environment, focusing on various functions that bolster sales activities. Responsibilities include handling POS transactions, managing merchandise, processing stock, and maintaining stockroom organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operational Efficiency:

Responsible for processing merchandise, ensuring items are stored correctly, labeled accurately, and easily accessible for restocking. This includes timely merchandising of new products and accurate data entry for receiving documents. Additionally, participation in pricing adjustments and markdowns is expected.

Customer Engagement:

Emphasizes the importance of delivering exceptional customer service, adhering to the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles. This includes facilitating a swift and efficient checkout experience while remaining knowledgeable about payment policies, returns, and exchanges.

Team Collaboration:

Encourages a cooperative approach to problem-solving and seeks opportunities for personal growth and feedback. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in stock handling or cashier roles is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to adapt to company-provided technology.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and capacity to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work efficiently within set timelines.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with visual merchandising techniques is a plus.
  • Regular attendance is crucial for maintaining adequate staffing levels.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Position requires constant walking and standing throughout the shift, with occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Frequent climbing may also be necessary.
