Applied Technical Services (Georgia) is seeking a highly skilled NDT Level III FPI Specialist to join our team in Marietta, GA. As a key member of our inspection team, you will be responsible for performing hands-on inspections of materials in accordance with procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Perform inspections and tests for aerospace castings
- Proctor exams, certify technicians, and oversee NADCAP and internal audits
- Develop and maintain PT procedures, personnel oversight, mentoring, and certifications
- Interface with department managers and clients to determine scope of work and work priorities
- Prepare written instructions and report examination results
- Level III FPI certification per NAS-410
- Experience in performing inspections and tests for aerospace castings
- Knowledge of quality control and assurance processes
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
