Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

Last Energy is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to lead the integration of our power plant systems and ensure seamless coordination between various engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own product requirements, including performance, cost, and schedule, and system design trade-offs.
  • Partner with cross-discipline engineering teams to develop program plans, including design execution, cost, schedule, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Lead the integration of different hardware and software components into a cohesive system.
  • Gather and analyze requirements from various stakeholders to ensure the system meets the intended goals.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement by proposing and implementing enhancements to power plant design, modularization, construction, and delivery processes.
  • Identify and manage risks associated with the technology being developed.
  • Demonstrate clear and timely technical communication skills across engineering, commercial, and supply chain organizations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering design with a specific focus on systems integration.
  • Experience with a complex engineering product.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams, and provide technical guidance and mentorship.
Compensation and Benefits:

$120,000 - $200,000 a year, plus medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) options, and PTO.
