The Senior Product Training Specialist - Jenbacher Engines is responsible for delivering technical training and consultancy services to clients, distributors, and internal teams, ensuring they can effectively and efficiently operate Jenbacher products. This role also plays a key part in enhancing training offerings and may involve supporting field service activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive technical training sessions, both hands-on and in classroom settings, for international clients, distributors, and internal personnel at various levels of expertise.
  • Proactively enhance training materials in collaboration with the Global Product Training Center team.
  • Develop and revise training documentation, materials, and eLearning modules in partnership with the instructional design team.
  • Lead initiatives related to training infrastructure, including the design and construction of training engines, simulators, and other training aids.
  • Foster a positive and engaging learning atmosphere by applying modern adult learning principles.
  • Ensure an exceptional training experience for participants, considering their diverse backgrounds and cultural contexts.
  • Occasionally undertake field service assignments to remain current with the latest JB product technologies, including commissioning and maintenance tasks.
  • Adhere to all relevant guidelines as outlined in the INNIO Quality Management System (ISO 9001), Environmental Management System (ISO), and Energy Management System (ISO).
Qualifications:
  • Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification (Secondary Vocational College or completed apprenticeship).
  • Preferably extensive experience with Jenbacher products and familiarity with Jenbacher control systems; alternatively, a minimum of four years in a technical training role within a similar industry.
  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a straightforward manner.
  • Exceptional facilitation, communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Project management skills to assist in training project initiatives.
  • Language proficiency:
    • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; knowledge of German and/or Spanish is advantageous.
Job-Specific Knowledge:
  • Proficient in adult learning methodologies and techniques.
  • Experience with live online training platforms and concepts.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 30% of the time.
