The Sales Specialist is a dedicated professional responsible for promoting and leasing a senior living community. By developing and executing a strategic sales plan, the ideal candidate will effectively manage their sales pipeline, create urgency among potential clients, and navigate the sales process through to closure to achieve maximum occupancy and revenue objectives.
Essential Qualifications for a Sales Specialist:
- Demonstrated experience in sales with a history of achieving and surpassing sales targets
- Familiarity with the senior living market and its various offerings is advantageous but not mandatory. We welcome applications from all successful sales professionals.
- A genuine desire to engage with and assist seniors by aligning their needs with our services and facilitating their transition into our communities
- Strong sales acumen with the ability to close deals while maintaining empathy for our clients
- Effective time management skills
- Exhibits a high level of initiative, creativity, sound judgment, and professional integrity
- Possesses strong leadership capabilities to work both independently and collaboratively
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Proven problem-solving abilities; capable of identifying solutions for clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce is preferred
- Willingness to travel as needed
Key Responsibilities of a Sales Specialist:
- Oversees all occupancy and revenue objectives for the community
- Utilizes Salesforce to effectively manage sales funnels, conversion rates, and move-in statistics
- Adheres to Fair Housing and Federal Trade Commission regulations
- Identifies new opportunities to broaden our network of referral sources
- Conducts daily outreach to prospective clients in the database to arrange visits and tours
- Manages the leasing center during the construction phase
- Conducts tours of model or available apartments for potential residents and referral agencies
- Assists with marketing campaigns and resident engagement events
- Acts as an educational resource for residents, caregivers, and staff
- Promotes the organization positively and exemplifies the standards of excellence
- Maintains effective communication and collaboration throughout the community
- Coordinates occupancy goals and resident/prospect information
- Prepares and oversees all relevant reports
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or non-traditional hours as required by business needs
