ADEX is seeking a highly skilled Physician - Internal Medicine Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient health status through medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic tests
- Develop comprehensive care plans using Standards of Care
- Provide in-patient care at an appropriate hospital as required
- Prescribe medications as necessary
- Integrate healthcare services by working with other providers and specialists
- Provide patient counseling and health education
- Maintain professional liaison with peers and organizations through continuing education and publications
- Participate in quality improvement and quality assurance activities
- Complete patient medical forms and documentation in a timely manner
- Graduation from an accredited medical school with a New York State license to practice medicine
- Board eligibility with the expectation of becoming Board Certified in the given specialty within five years of hire
- New York State License to practice medicine
- Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certificate
