Internal Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Medicine Specialist to join our team at Garnet Health Medical Center. As a key member of our primary care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading our interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal medicine and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing primary and continuing care to patients at Garnet Health Medical Center
- Leading our interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
- Developing and implementing care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- A degree of M.D. or D.O. with recognized internal medicine residency
- Professional clinical experience in primary care practice in either family medicine or internal medicine
- NYS Medical License, valid and unrestricted
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
- Current and ongoing BLS certification
- NY State DEA Certification, valid and unrestricted
- Current NY State Opioid Prescriber Certificate
- Current Infectious Certificate

Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The range for the role is $235,135 through $281,579 annually. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member's compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).
