Job Title: Vascular Access Nurse

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Vascular Access Nurse to join our team in Chelsea, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Vascular Access Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and support our Vascular Access Team. As a Vascular Access Nurse, you will be responsible for performing vascular access procedures, educating patients and families, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform vascular access procedures, including insertion and maintenance of central lines and peripheral IVs
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on vascular access care and management
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Current Massachusetts RN License
  • AD with 3-5 years experience or BSN degree in nursing
  • Knowledge of IV Therapy Nursing
  • Dedication to both bedside teaching and formal hospital education programs
  • Ability to multi-task and develop and support unit-based quality improvement/research projects
