Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes. This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care, a passion for delivering high-quality nursing care, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients on the Vascular Surgery Step-Down Unit
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and report patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts
  • 18 months of BWH nursing experience required, with current vascular and/or cardiovascular nursing experience preferred
  • Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract
