We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Patient Access Center team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in managing patient flow and ensuring seamless transitions between care settings.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical guidance and decision-making to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement strategies for capacity management and patient flow.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including referring physicians and hospitals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical knowledge and best practices in patient access and capacity management.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing, BSN required. Master's degree preferred.
- Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Massachusetts, is required. CCRN certification preferred.
- 10 years adult critical care and/or emergency department experience required.
- 5-year Nurse leader experience required such as: flow coordinator, access nurse, bed control.
