We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal Professional to join our team in a dynamic and growing law firm with over 200 attorneys nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, edit, and proofread various documents, including correspondence, agreements, and pleadings, to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
  • Manage and assist with complex document production, including Bates Stamping, to maintain efficient workflow and meet deadlines.
  • Draft simple pleadings and correspondence, utilizing strong writing and communication skills to convey complex information effectively.
  • Prepare court filings and files with various courts, adhering to strict regulations and guidelines.
  • Create Table of Contents and Table of Authorities using Microsoft Word, demonstrating proficiency in software applications.
  • Prepare and finalize discovery, including propounded and responses, to facilitate smooth case management.
  • Communicate with court staff regarding various issues, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Maintain calendars, including coordination and scheduling meetings, depositions, conference calls, and send calendar invites and reminders, ensuring seamless coordination.
  • Track deadlines and status of cases/matters and update attorneys on court deadlines, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Prepare Trial Memorandum and calendar all appearances/deadlines, ensuring thorough preparation and organization.
  • Schedule local and out-of-town depositions, coordinate court reporter/videographer, and coordinate Mediation dates, demonstrating ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
  • Assist with trial preparation, including creating trial notebooks and coordinating trial copy jobs, showcasing attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Answer telephones, take detailed messages, and provide follow-up and interact with clients, outside counsel, and others, providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
  • Previous law firm experience preferred, but not required.
  • Exceptional organization skills, with ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with ability to convey complex information effectively.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Teamwork oriented, with ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and other staff members.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, with ability to learn new software applications quickly.
  • Knowledge of legal terminology and principles, with ability to analyze legal documents and ensure accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
