Bibsonomy is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of part-time instructor in the field of Human Anatomy and Physiology. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about teaching and committed to fostering student success in the sciences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lectures and facilitate learning in the assigned subject area.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive course syllabi and related documentation.
  • Evaluate student performance based on established learning outcomes and competencies.
  • Provide constructive feedback through self-assessment and peer evaluations.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the educational experience within the discipline.
  • Hold regular office hours to support student inquiries and academic progress.
  • Classes may be conducted in various formats, including online, evening, and weekend sessions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Human Anatomy and Physiology; or
  • Master's degree in Zoology or a related Health or Biological Science with at least 9 graduate credits in vertebrate anatomy and/or physiology.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching at the community college level.
  • Proven ability to engage effectively with community college students.
  • Relevant professional experience in the subject matter.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teaching.
  • Familiarity with competency-based and outcomes-focused instructional methods.
