We are looking for an experienced engineer to fill the position of **Senior Protection and Control Engineer**. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing standards and templates for relays controlling reclosers and switchgear. This role involves working closely with the Power Grid Operations (PGO) Distribution System Protection and Control peer team within the DPAC Enterprise Standards team.

Job Description:

  • Develop advanced skills in system protection and control for medium voltage systems.
  • Evaluate system protection and coordination studies.
  • Design, create, and evaluate system protection and control standards and templates.
  • Work with various sensing, control, communications, and protection capabilities into technical standard solution systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • Minimum 4 years of related experience.
  • Master's degree in engineering may be considered in lieu of B.S. engineering degree.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer.
