About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Market Manager to join our team at Fluid Truck. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our vehicles meet the highest standards of safety and cleanliness, providing exceptional care to our customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our fleet at a local level, reporting directly to the Regional Market Manager. This will involve coordinating with vendors, ensuring preventative maintenance and repairs are conducted efficiently, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage fleet maintenance and repairs, ensuring all vehicles are in optimal condition.
  2. Coordinate with vendors to ensure smooth maintenance and repair processes.
  3. Conduct vehicle inspections using our mobile app, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.
  4. Onboard new vehicles, including attaching decals, installing telematics, and ensuring insurance cards are in place.
  5. Offboard legacy vehicles, including decommissioning and removing all registrations.
  6. Collaborate with multiple team members and departments to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  7. Effectively communicate with the Regional Market Manager and Operations Manager to ensure local fleet is in optimal condition.
  8. Pick up and drop off vehicles at various locations as needed.
  9. Participate in the vehicle recovery process.
  10. Makes financial decisions to promote the health of the local fleet while reducing costs.
Requirements
  • Proven success in a fast-paced, customer-focused work environment.
  • Must be proficient with mobile app technology and able to use our mobile app and navigate various internal platforms.
  • Experience in general automotive maintenance and/or fleet management or related field.
  • Ability to develop and manage local vendor relationships.
  • General business acumen with the ability to identify and recommend cost-saving measures.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75lbs; sitting, standing, bending, twisting, stretching, kneeling for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Must be willing to commute as needed in a company-provided vehicle.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean Motor Vehicle Report.
