Job Title: Bird Exclusion Technician

Meridian Wildlife Services is seeking a skilled Bird Exclusion Technician to join our team. As a Bird Exclusion Technician, you will be responsible for installing preventative measures to safeguard commercial and retail properties from nuisance bird populations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspections and Installations:
    • Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify potential bird entry points.
    • Install a variety of exclusion materials, including screens, net systems, vent covers, and other barriers and various products.
  • Repairs and Maintenance:
    • Perform minor repairs to roofs, siding, walls, and other areas as needed.
    • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Customer Service:
    • Provide excellent customer service by explaining exclusion methods and answering questions.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work collaboratively with other Operations divisions to ensure effective solutions.
Requirements:
  • Experience in construction, carpentry, wildlife management, wildlife exclusion, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting, climbing, and working in confined and elevated spaces.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel by car and plane to customer sites to perform exclusion work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Lives within 50 miles of Atlanta, GA.
