We are seeking a highly skilled Consumer Compliance Officer to join our Wealth Management Compliance team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our consumer banking business lines comply with applicable regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide compliance advice to consumer banking business lines on loans and deposits to high-net-worth individuals and their related entities.
- Develop and implement procedures to meet existing and upcoming regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the compliance efforts focusing on consumer banking and work with multiple assigned business units.
- Review proposed legislation, regulatory announcements, and industry practices to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Minimum 5 years of legal experience in the financial services industry or equivalent work experience with knowledge of key consumer banking regulations.
- Experience in consumer and mass affluent banking, with a focus on residential mortgages, deposit products, and loans secured by marketable securities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High energy and ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills.
