Job Summary

The Contract Compliance Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring that Minority, Women, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (MWDBEs) have the opportunity to participate in county contracts while maintaining compliance with Allegheny County's goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor contracts to ensure MWDBE participation and compliance.
  • Review and process MWDBE participation documentation.
  • Enter contracts into the contract compliance system and manage contract data.
  • Compile and analyze data to generate reports.
  • Correspond with county employees, vendors, and agencies.
  • Monitor monthly MWDBE reporting and assist vendors with compliance.
  • Provide problem resolution for outstanding contract issues.
  • Represent the department at construction progress meetings and other meetings as required.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of government contracting processes, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Section 49: Parts 23 & 26, MWDBE Guidelines, and contract compliance.
  • Skills in Microsoft Windows and Office Suite, contract compliance reporting systems, financial reporting systems, and document management systems.
  • Ability to work accurately, organize records, and manage time and tasks effectively.
