We are seeking a proactive HR Business Partner (HRBP) to align business goals with people strategies across designated units, operating with significant autonomy in a dynamic environment. Reporting to the Director of HRBP, you will cultivate partnerships throughout the HR function to provide valuable services to leadership and staff that align with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with leaders in specific business areas to develop and implement talent strategies, including organizational structure, change management, recruitment, recognition, and employee engagement.
- Guide leaders in maximizing their effectiveness for their teams and the organization, ensuring meaningful outcomes. This involves offering daily performance management support, including coaching, counseling, career development, and corrective actions, while working closely with management and staff to enhance workplace relationships, morale, and productivity.
- Participate in team and individual meetings as a change agent and business advisor, providing insights into team dynamics, talent trends, and cultural solutions to optimize performance.
- Advocate for the implementation of HR initiatives from HR Centers of Excellence, including Total Rewards, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Operations/HRIS, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, and Communications, ensuring effective execution and continuous feedback for enhancements.
- Address and resolve complex employee relations matters, conducting thorough and impartial investigations in collaboration with the Employee Relations team to ensure fairness and thoroughness.
- Stay informed about legal requirements concerning employee management, minimizing legal risks and ensuring compliance. Collaborate with the legal department and internal HR team as necessary, providing guidance on HR policies.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required; SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in an HRBP or comparable HR role, engaging with leaders at all organizational levels, including C-suite.
- Ability to articulate the business model and the challenges and opportunities it faces.
- Demonstrated experience in addressing business challenges and a solid understanding of change management practices.
- Proven ability to independently solve problems and assist others in doing the same, with a knack for analyzing data and deriving meaningful insights.
- Familiarity with various HR disciplines, including employee relations, diversity, performance management, and relevant employment laws.
- Self-motivated and resourceful, capable of working autonomously in fast-paced environments while making sound recommendations to advance business objectives.
- Strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to understand the organization's structure, roles, compensation practices, and related administrative processes.
- Experience supporting Customer Service or Sales Support teams is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range: $110,000-$120,000 with an annual bonus potential of up to 15%.
