Job Overview:

This role offers a competitive pay rate of $17/hr. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

The Food Service Auditor is responsible for overseeing and enforcing food safety regulations and practices. This position involves conducting various audits to ensure that protocols, processes, records, and reports are accurately maintained and effectively communicated.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor adherence to food handling procedures to ensure quality control.
  2. Provide retraining for staff in accordance with established guidelines.
  3. Conduct audits of locations and personnel using diverse methods aimed at enhancing employee training and identifying specific issues related to food handling practices.
  4. Perform audits of the Foods Warehouse.
  5. Complete and maintain all necessary documentation and paperwork.
  6. Ensure accuracy of records and communicate findings to relevant personnel.
  7. Input data accurately into the Food Operations database.
  8. Compile and distribute reports to Food Services management regarding cash activities, audits, and ongoing investigations.
  9. Regularly assess existing policies and offer recommendations to Food Services management.
  10. Analyze trends to identify potential policy violations or misappropriations.
  11. Provide support and information to employees via phone and in-person interactions.
  12. Adhere to all safety protocols.
  13. Maintain cleanliness in work and storage areas to comply with local and state sanitation regulations.
  14. Assist during emergency situations.
  15. Facilitate clear communication among management, associates, and other departments.
  16. Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, as well as corporate policies, including but not limited to Minor Labor Law, alcohol regulations, and health department standards.
  17. Work in various locations as required to enhance efficiency and guest service.
  18. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test in accordance with company policy, unless restricted by state or provincial law.
  • Ability to pass a background check, which may include credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, in accordance with company policy, unless restricted by federal, state, or provincial law.
