Job Summary

The Technical Solutions Manager will play a key role in supporting the Director of Solutions Architecture in the design, deployment, and management of software projects within the logistics chain, with a focus on airport operations. This position will be responsible for ensuring that technical solutions align with business needs and operational requirements, while driving efficiency and innovation in logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Solutions Architecture to design and implement software solutions tailored to the logistics needs of airport operations.
  • Lead project management activities for software deployments, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for software integrations, addressing any challenges in real-time, and providing expertise in system architecture.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across various levels of the organization, including operations, IT, and external vendors.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Oversee the end-to-end software implementation process, from requirement gathering, solution design, testing, and final deployment.
  • Ensure compliance with airport-specific regulations and security requirements when designing technical solutions.
  • Monitor the performance of implemented software systems, optimizing where necessary to ensure continued operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project updates and reports to senior leadership, highlighting risks, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for deployed solutions.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains competitive and innovative.

Technical Requirements:

  • **Programming Languages:** TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, Rust, HTML, CSS.
  • **Frameworks:** ReactJS, NextJs, PugJS, NodeJS, Fastify, React Native, Tauri, Electron.
  • **Database Management:** Microsoft SQL Server, CosmosDB, database design, SQL optimization.
  • **Cloud Services:** Microsoft Azure, Digital Ocean.
  • **DevOps:** CI/CD pipelines, Microsoft DevOps, Git, GitHub.
  • **API Design:** Secure API development, JWT, token-based authentication.
  • **Automation and Tooling:** Microsoft PowerAutomate, PowerApps, Microsoft Logic Apps.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical solution management, systems architecture, or software deployment, preferably within logistics or airport operations.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in Agile or similar methodologies.
  • Expertise in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and familiarity with logistics management systems.
  • Proven experience in delivering technical solutions that drive operational efficiency.
  • Familiarity with airport logistics, regulatory requirements, and security protocols is highly preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and managing software integrations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
