About the Role

Virtuoso, the leading global travel agency network, is seeking a seasoned Sr. Product Manager, Data Products to drive the development and strategy of our reporting and data products. This critical role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and deliver data products that meet the needs of our network, agency owner-managers, and supplier partners.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Product Vision and Strategy: Develop and execute a product vision and strategy that aligns with Virtuoso's business goals and meets the needs of our network.
  2. Product Development: Lead the development of Virtuoso's reporting and data products, including setting and maintaining a rolling 12-month product roadmap and 3-year strategy.
  3. Financial Management: Own the P&L for Data Products at Virtuoso, ensuring alignment with financial targets and contributing to the overall business strategy.
  4. Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to create shared understanding and alignment on strategic goals to ensure on-time delivery and performance for data products.
  5. Customer Insights: Meet with customers, partners, and internal subject matter experts to synthesize key insights and serve as the voice of the customer within the team and across the company.
  6. Industry Expertise: Develop and maintain a high level of expertise on industry trends and technology.
  7. Product Culture: Collaborate with Product Management peers and leadership to cultivate a healthy, effective Product culture and contribute to best practices.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in information systems, economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree preferred but not required.
  • 5-7 years' experience managing digital products and creating business strategies.
  • Experience telling stories with data, building analytics dashboards, and/or working in Tableau preferred.
  • Proven track record of taking a product from concept and ideation to launch and adoption.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, even without influence or authority.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use data to rally others around ideas.
  • Demonstrated success in managing sophisticated projects with competing simultaneous priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Travel Requirements
  • Infrequent travel may be required to attend company/industry events (1-3 trips per year).
  • Travel will be primarily domestic but may include some international.
