About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our AWS International Product Management and Expansion Strategy team. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and expansion globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to drive business growth and expansion
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business opportunities
  • Design and implement statistical models to analyze customer adoption patterns and drive business decisions
  • Work closely with regional strategy managers to develop business strategies and plans
  • Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to communicate business insights to stakeholders

Requirements
  • Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. econometrics, statistics, industrial engineering)
  • 5+ years of experience in data science or a related field
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degrees (e.g. MS, PhD) in a quantitative field
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms and techniques
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Experience with data governance and security best practices
