Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Residential Housekeeping Professional to join our team at Rivergate KW Residential. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our properties, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and exceeding our company's standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure property appearance meets or exceeds Rivergate KW Residential standards at all times.
  • Perform regular custodial duties around the property, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and removing trash.
  • Clean hallway lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and dumpster areas daily.
  • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.
  • Carry toilet items and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts.
  • Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
  • Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
  • Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
  • Remove debris from driveways and swimming pool areas.
  • Report any and all maintenance items to the Building Maintenance Department.
  • Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers.
  • Dust window blinds.
  • Thoroughly clean breezeways by removing cobwebs, bugs in lights, mopping floors, and wiping down doors.
  • Observe all State, Federal, and Company safety standards/precautions while performing tasks to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Observe precautions required to protect Residents, guests, and property, and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
  • Clean vacant apartments and move-out apartments in preparation for marketing and occupancy.
  • Properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
  • Assist in maintaining records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
  • Effectively communicate with Residents, guests, visitors, and staff as needed.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
  • Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to browse through SharePoint.
