The Cypress of Charlotte is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our upscale skilled nursing center.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning services to residential rooms, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
  • Conduct scheduled deep cleaning of rooms, including cleaning of floors, furnishings, walls, windows, and specified items.
  • Clean and polish glass panels, doors, and partitions.
  • Straighten and rearrange furniture, empty and wash wastebaskets.
  • Clean building utility areas, closets, offices, lounges, lobbies, entrances, halls, meeting rooms, and stairways.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend written and oral instructions in English.
  • Must be able to frequently stand, stoop, bend, squat throughout a shift, and be able to stand/walk for up to 70% of the workday.
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds without assistance, and push/pull on a cart.
  • Must be age 16 or older.
