Position Overview:

The role involves the safe and efficient transportation of products within the facility, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move and organize products.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely movement of goods.
  • Conduct counts and measurements of incoming and outgoing products for accuracy.
  • Maintain responsibility for inventory management, including product location and rotation.
  • Perform daily inspections of forklifts to ensure safe operation.
  • Follow directives to gather necessary materials for production.
  • Assist production staff in obtaining required supplies promptly.

Additional Duties:

  • Complete other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
  • PIT Certification is required.

Education and Experience:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience in forklift operation is advantageous.
  • Experience in manufacturing or the poultry sector is a plus.
