The associate will be responsible for operating various machinery in a timely and safe manner in conjunction with production needs.Essential Duties, Functions and responsibilities:Process product using tools and equipment providedFollows all work safety policies and guidelinesObserves equipment operation,notifying appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and/ or safety issues/concernsAdheres to all USADA and GMP product standards and guidelinesMaintains a clean and organized work areaWill be required to rotate to various functions within the processing departmentPerforms other duties as assignedAccountable to maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hoursKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Set up, operate and maintain all equipment in the assigned departmentRun product at line speed as scheduled by Production SupervisorMaintain on going communication and maintenance Supervisors and ManagersAbility to work in a fast pace environmentAbility to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructionsMust be willing and able to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodationMust be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United StatesMust pass background check, drug screen and pre-employment physicalPhysical Requirements:Standing( 8hours a day or more)Lifting, Carrying, pushing or pulling ( up to and including 50lbs or more)Reaching overhead(up to and including 25lbs)Operation hand held an/or mechanical machineryClimbing stairsWorking with scissors and knivesGripping, grasping and twisting using hands and wristsBending and stooping for long periods of timeWorking Conditions/ Department Description:May work in damp and cold environmentSeasonable hot and warm environmentWork with loud and noisy machineryButterball, LLC is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to the fair and impartial treatment of all employees and applicants for employment without regard to gender, age, race, religion, color, national origin, physical or mental disability, military/veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, genetic information, marital status, parental status, pregnancy, or any other status protected by law.
