Position Summary:

The Tray Pack Cooler Attendant/Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe transportation and relocation of products within the facility, ensuring accuracy in inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to efficiently move and organize stock.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Conduct counts, weigh, and measure items to verify information.
  • Maintain responsibility for product and material management within the designated area, including inventory control and proper rotation.
  • Perform daily inspections of forklifts to ensure safe operation.
  • Follow directives to gather necessary materials for production.
  • Assist production staff in obtaining required supplies promptly.

Additional Duties:

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
  • PIT Certification is required.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a forklift operator is advantageous.
  • Experience in manufacturing or the poultry sector is a plus.
