Job Title: Director, Procurement
Job Summary:
AssetMark is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead the development of a comprehensive sourcing and procurement strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Strategy: Develop a long-term procurement strategy that aligns with business growth objectives and operational needs.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors to ensure high performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery.
- Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality by implementing effective sourcing tactics.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, supplier capabilities, and market pricing dynamics.
- Process Improvement: Design and implement procurement processes, tools, and technologies that streamline workflows, reduce lead times, and improve supplier performance.
- Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align procurement activities with overall business objectives.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen understanding of market trends and risk management strategies.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and foster a collaborative environment.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain strategy roles.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies that deliver measurable business impact.
- Experience with procurement tools and technologies (e.g., ERP systems, procurement software).
Compensation: The base salary range for this position is between $135,000-$160,000. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.
