RAYUS Radiology is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to enhance our imaging services. We are committed to transforming the field of radiology, ensuring it plays a pivotal role in accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. As an MRI Technologist, your primary responsibility will be to operate MRI scanners to capture detailed images of patients for diagnostic evaluation. You will adopt a patient-centric approach, delivering MRI services that adhere to professional standards while ensuring exceptional customer care.
Each patient visiting our facilities is in search of clarity and answers. You will support them through this sometimes challenging experience by clearly explaining the process and addressing any questions or concerns they may have regarding the examination.
Key Responsibilities:
(90%) Patient MRI Imaging
- Conduct patient screenings prior to examinations to identify any precautions or contraindications, utilizing two patient identifiers to confirm accuracy.
- Provide thorough explanations and prepare patients for MRI procedures, ensuring proper positioning for optimal imaging.
- Execute routine and advanced MRI procedures on specified body areas for diagnostic purposes, minimizing the need for repeat scans while offering continuous patient support.
- Adjust MRI scanning parameters as necessary to achieve the best imaging results.
- Foster positive relationships with radiologists, referring physicians, and colleagues.
- Adhere strictly to physician directives and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
- Maintain accurate patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
- Keep the work area organized and clean, promoting safety for patients and colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with ACR toolkit and accreditation standards.
- Regularly inspect and maintain equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality after each use.
- Uphold all HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
(5%) MRI Department Support
- Assist in updating the imaging protocol manual and implementing software upgrades.
- Monitor and manage medical supply inventory, placing orders as needed.
- Support the training of new staff, providing guidance and technical expertise.
(5%) Additional Responsibilities
- Complete other assigned tasks as required.
