Job Title: MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at RAYUS Radiology. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI scanners to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Provide patient-centered care, ensuring that patients are comfortable and informed throughout the imaging process.
  • Screen patients for any precautions or contradictions before the exam, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
  • Explain and prepare patients for MRI procedures, positioning them correctly for the exam.
  • Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body, providing patient support throughout the procedure.
  • Adjust MRI scan parameters correctly and as needed, maintaining a positive attitude and working relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates and peers.
  • Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety regulations to protect yourself, patients, and coworkers.
  • Maintain accurate patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Maintain an orderly and clean work area, promoting good safety habits for patients and coworkers.
  • Ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.
  • Current certification as an MRI Technologist or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Full-time position with a Sunday 7:30am-6:00pm and Monday-Wednesday 11:30am-10:00pm schedule.
