Position Overview:

The Environmental Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and guiding the cleaning crew to ensure that all cleanliness, maintenance, and setup standards are upheld within the facility. This role involves assigning tasks to Environmental Services personnel, responding to communication from staff, updating work histories, and facilitating shift transitions in the absence of the Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute cleaning, setup, and general maintenance tasks as directed by the Environmental Services Shift Supervisor.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of ceilings, walls, vents, and office areas.
  • Ensure floors, carpets, and upholstery throughout the facility are kept in pristine condition.
  • Oversee the cleanliness of windows, dust furniture, and manage waste by picking up litter and emptying trash receptacles.
  • Polish gaming machines, clean public and employee restrooms, and manage ashtrays.
  • Vacuum, sweep, and polish floors as necessary.
  • Assist in the setup and teardown of Casino Events as instructed by the Environmental Services Shift Supervisor, including special events such as buffets and bingo.
  • Handle the arrangement and movement of equipment, including chairs, tables, and bleachers, in preparation for events.
  • Report safety concerns and maintenance needs promptly.
  • Operate company vehicles or equipment as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, unless waived by Human Resources Management. Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of environmental services and floor care, as well as knowledge of relevant equipment. The ability to work with cleaning chemicals while maintaining a collaborative environment with other departments is essential. Excellent guest service skills are a must. A valid California Driver's License is required. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays is necessary.
