Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to large-scale projects. This role encompasses mechanical engineering responsibilities that include system design, analysis, and installation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and execute mechanical system designs from inception to completion.
- Conduct thorough analyses including stress, fatigue, and load calculations.
- Select appropriate materials and perform failure effects analysis.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, interfacing with engineers, designers, and drafters.
- Ensure compliance with local and governmental design codes.
- Develop comprehensive documentation including:
- Theory and operational descriptions
- Detailed mechanical system design
- Implementation and acceptance test plans
- Routine maintenance and job plans
- Create mechanical design drawings and installation procedures using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
- Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic control systems.
- Assist in the initial start-up and debugging of integrated systems.

Project Management:
- Act as the technical lead on projects, guiding junior engineers and technicians.
- Manage smaller projects, overseeing budgets ranging from $50k to $250k.
- Develop and execute project implementation plans, ensuring all team members understand their responsibilities.
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Preferred experience of 5+ years in mechanical systems, stress analysis, and amusement ride safety standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of contract documents and specifications.
- Excellent planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel up to 35% of the time.

Working Conditions:
- Standard office environment with exposure to diverse industrial settings.
- Frequent use of computers and office equipment.
