Compliance Testing Lead

Position Overview
The Compliance Testing Lead is responsible for overseeing the design and execution of testing scripts related to Compliance and Operational Risk. This role entails leading a dedicated team while ensuring that all testing activities are completed in accordance with established policies and standards. The Compliance Testing Lead collaborates closely with Risk and Compliance officers to implement an effective testing program that meets regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to the testing team, ensuring high-quality execution of testing activities.
- Engage with compliance officers and operational risk teams to develop and refine testing methodologies.
- Foster relationships with external consultants and regulatory agencies, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Analyze testing results and identify trends to enhance compliance and operational risk management.
- Manage team performance, focusing on talent development and retention.
Managerial Duties
As a leader, the Compliance Testing Lead is expected to embody the following managerial responsibilities:
- Champion diversity and inclusion within the team, aligning with corporate goals.
- Demonstrate operational excellence and continuous improvement through effective process management.
- Communicate organizational objectives and results clearly to the team.
- Ensure a robust risk management culture is maintained across all testing activities.

- Assess team talent and build a strong pipeline for future roles.
- Drive business outcomes by prioritizing and delegating tasks effectively.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant fields such as Finance, Economics, or Data Science.
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in compliance or operational risk testing.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with quantitative methods and data analytics.
- Familiarity with programming languages and software development principles.
- Knowledge of the financial services industry and its regulatory environment.
