Position Overview

AECOM Hunt is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent for a notable construction initiative at a major airport.

  • Oversee comprehensive on-site administrative and technical management for various construction projects.
  • Direct and organize construction and related activities within your designated area of responsibility, which may encompass single or multiple project areas.
  • Act as the primary liaison for all daily job site activities or coordinate with client representatives regarding job site operations.
  • Ensure that all job site activities comply with design specifications, adhere to timelines, remain within budget, and meet quality standards. Collaborate with administrative field staff, field management, and the Project Manager to achieve project goals.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, along with 8 years of relevant construction experience or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline, with over 8 years of experience in construction management, particularly in a superintendent capacity, showcasing a successful track record in large-scale aviation projects.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and safety regulations.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to perform under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
  • Prior experience in the aviation industry is advantageous.

  • Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening.
  • Parking is available for this position.
  • A valid Driver's License is required to operate AECOM-provided vehicles on construction sites.
  • To obtain a security badge for client worksite access, candidates may need to undergo a security screening process.

Compensation will be determined based on location and individual qualifications, with an expected range of $106,000 to $197,580.63.
