About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team at Michael Page. As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process of healthcare projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate all trade and vendor pricing per project to reach profitable agreements.
  • Project Planning: Determine needed site resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to the project budget.
  • Construction Operations: Plan all construction operations and schedule all work on-site to ensure deadlines will be met.
  • Client Communication: Provide a daily client update including project progress report and photographs; keep a daily log of what took place on-site for each project.
  • Quality Control: Communicate quality and performance standards to all trade contractors and vendors.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards on the job site.
  • Project Close Out: Create the Project Close Out binder.
Requirements
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in construction, preferably with ground-up experience.
  • Education: Architecture degree preferred.
  • Skills: Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, FastTrack, and other software platforms; OSHA certified required.
  • Leadership: Strong interpersonal and written communication skills; ability to lead a team.
