Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all phases of construction projects from initial planning through to execution, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
  • Allocate resources effectively for assigned projects, overseeing the construction process while maintaining quality standards and compliance with building regulations.
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring clarity of expectations and adherence to project timelines.
  • Build and sustain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor daily work progress, proactively identifying potential delays or issues and implementing solutions to address them.
  • Conduct regular quality control assessments to ensure the safety and satisfaction of both the construction team and clients.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on job status, including daily updates, progress documentation, and punch lists.
  • Negotiate contract terms, draft agreements, and secure necessary permits and licenses.


Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Commercial Superintendent role or a similar capacity within the construction industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Proficient in construction management software and project management tools.
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
  • Proven leadership and management capabilities, with a track record of motivating and guiding teams.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to conceptualize and execute project plans while managing time effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies and project management principles.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance and health and safety standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office and relevant construction/project management software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Capability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Valid driver's license required.
