Phlebotomist Floater Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist Floater to join our team at BioReference Laboratories. As a Phlebotomist Floater, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a fast-paced laboratory setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture techniques
  • Label and process specimens according to established procedures
  • Ensure accurate and efficient specimen collection and processing
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a calm environment for patients
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet laboratory productivity goals
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed
  • Minimum 6 months' experience performing venipunctures in a laboratory or hospital setting
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent patient interaction skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
