Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team at GPAC. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for reviewing and understanding all documents and assessing project risks. You will also be responsible for managing and developing cost estimates of 'at risk' projects, including all material, labor, equipment, and general condition costs necessary to deliver a complete project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and understand all project documents and assess project risks
  • Manage and develop cost estimates of 'at risk' projects
  • Actively perform pre-construction duties and participate in meetings with clients, owners, and engineers
  • Maintain a historical database of costs

Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience estimating Civil Infrastructure/Underground Utilities projects
  • Well-versed in all estimating principles, including reviewing conceptual estimates
  • Ability to communicate collaboratively; team player and balanced in approach
  • Advanced computer skills with estimating software; heavy Bid and excavating software is preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Strong communication skills
