POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The primary responsibility of this role is to receive and manage donations of goods at a designated retail location. Additional tasks may be assigned by the Store Manager as needed.

SUPERVISORY STRUCTURE:

This position reports directly to the Store Manager and will also take guidance from the Lead Sales Associate and Assistant Manager.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

A High School diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory. No prior experience is required as on-the-job training will be provided. Candidates must possess the ability to communicate effectively in English to understand work and safety instructions, respond to inquiries, and interact with management, colleagues, program participants, and the public. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is essential. Candidates should be capable of lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds and be willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and overtime as necessary.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT UTILIZED:

This role involves the use of various tools including pens, pencils, clipboards, receipt forms, keys, padlocks, telephones, gloves, and stairs.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

The position is situated in a high-traffic retail environment that demands consistent physical effort for loading and unloading merchandise.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

Due to scheduling requirements, consecutive days off may not be guaranteed.
